About the Company
Condamine Wellscreens (CWS) is a reputable manufacturer of stainless-steel products for the Agricultural, Water, Mining, and Resource sectors. Since 1993, we have built a dedicated team committed to quality and excellence.
In 2016, CWS acquired McDowall Engineering, specializing in wedge wire shaping and general engineering. This role will support both businesses.
Our team enjoys a collaborative work environment, and you will too — we work hard, share a laugh, and finish early on Fridays
The Role
Working alongside Product Experts, your main responsibility will be to drive new business growth by building and maintaining a sales pipeline. You will work independently to convert prospects into clients and promote our products and brand through suitable channels.
This role involves primarily office work with occasional visits to client sites and the company headquarters.
How will you do this?
* Identify and qualify potential clients with current or upcoming needs for our products and services
* Maintain records of calls and interactions, ensuring consistent follow-up
* Manage client relationships, promoting our products and their benefits
* Promote products via social media and our website, keeping content current
* Strategically identify advertising and business development opportunities (e.g., trade shows, publications) and present business cases as needed
* Arrange appointments for internal experts to visit clients
About You
This role suits a self-starter who enjoys meeting targets Experience in a similar role is not mandatory, but the following qualities will help you succeed:
* Experience working with customers to understand their needs and offer solutions
* Mechanical aptitude or experience in manufacturing or engineering
* Clear, personable, and confident communication skills
* Strong copywriting skills for engaging posts and product info
* Excellent organizational skills to track communications and meetings
