THE ROLE
Crystalbrook Riley is a stunning luxury hotel in Cairns, Australia, offering a unique blend of chic design, sustainable practices, and high-energy fun. The Venue manager will be responsible for the success of the buffet breakfast, poolside/lunch service, the Ala Carte dinner service and in-room dinning.
This role reports into the Food and Beverage Manager and works alongside a passionate and supportive Food and Beverage team who believe in crafting incredible culinary experiences for all guests. Under supportive and progressive leadership, there is plenty of opportunity to develop in your hospitality career.
Culinary Delights at Paper Crane
The hotel's signature restaurant, Paper Crane, takes you on a modern Asian fusion adventure. Using the freshest local produce from tropical north Queensland, Paper Crane's menu features a delightful mix of sweet, spicy, and unexpected flavors, inspired by Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese cuisines.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a skilled and career-focused hospitality expert. Your previous leadership experience is really important, along with exposure to working in busy service environments. You will naturally demonstrate a high energy with an inherent desire to provide our guests and customers with the highest level of service. As well as a creative flair with strong organisational skills and experience.
You will be capable of inspiring and leading a team of staff along with rostering, identifying trends, purchasing and ordering, stock take, working across recruitment and ensuring exceptional operating standards. Your experience will be relevant across the hospitality service industry.
