Graduate Physiotherapist

UnitingCare Queensland
– The Wesley Hospital, Brisbane.
Term: 12-month fixed term graduate position with rotations across The Wesley Hospital and potentially St Stephens Hospital (Hervey Bay). Accommodation provided in Hervey Bay where applicable.
Responsibilities
Join the Allied Health team to assist patients through admitted programs and outpatient services to maximise physical potential and restore movement and function following surgery, illness or injury.
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred rehabilitation in an acute setting, supporting multidisciplinary approaches and contributing to the team's care plan.
Participate in rotations across Acute hospital, Rehabilitation and Day Rehabilitation; may include a regional rotation to St Stephens Private Hospital in Hervey Bay.
Demonstrate commitment to continuing education and professional development; maintain and progress AHPRA registration and eligibility requirements.
Qualifications
Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
Australian Working Rights (no sponsorships)
Recent graduate (within 12 months of commencement)
Ability to commence mid January
One Acute Tertiary hospital placement (desirable)
Commitment to teamwork and strong communication skills
Willingness to undertake 1 rotation (6 months) at St Stephens Hospital, Hervey Bay (accommodation provided)
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and learning
Experience in health is desirable
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with infection control requirements
