A great opportunity has arisen in our MMM10 Mitre 10 Trade Centre business for a Trade Supervisor in our new Cowes site. This is a Full-Time, Monday to Friday role.
As the Trade Yard Supervisor you will lead by example on the floor, delivering excellent customer service while overseeing daily operations within the department. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, productivity, service standards, and team performance are consistently met. The Trade Supervisor will coach, support and motivate team members while remaining hands‐on in day‐to‐day operations.
What you will be doing
Lead, coach and motivate team members to achieve high standards of customer service, safety and productivity
Act as a point of escalation for customer and team queries within the department
Allocate daily work tasks, monitor performance and ensure workloads are completed efficiently
Foster a positive, respectful and safety‐focused team culture
Champion health and safety by ensuring safe work practices for staff, customers and contractors
Serve customers by assisting with orders and delivering fast, efficient and professional service
Receive and put away stock, predominantly timber and associated products
Pick, prepare and dispatch customer orders for delivery trucks accurately and on time

* Forklift Licence (essential)
* HR Truck Licence (highly desirable)
* Trade knowledge and experience (highly desirable)
