Our new Burnett Heads site is commencing construction April 2026 and we're looking for someone who's ready to step into this exciting position. Located 15km from Bundaberg, this is an up and coming community with a relaxed coastal vibe. We pride ourselves on providing first class resort facilities and housing for a vibrant active lifestyle for the over-50's community.
QA Build is the powerhouse behind the construction of GemLife communities. Our expert teams deliver quality-built villas for our resort developments, achieving impressive build times of just 16 weeks.
Our Lighthouse Bay site will have 437 homes at completion with a pipeline of work for 5-6yrs on the one site that will be released in 4 stages. You will be responsible for running the site, managing the team of Plant Operators, Labourers and Contractors to deliver homes on time to the highest standard of quality and safety. There will be a commercial team working on the site managing the delivery of the clubhouse, sporting facilities and entry statement. Collectively as a team, the commercial and residential team will hold monthly BBQs for our staff and contractors to ensure we promote a cohesive and well run site. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who makes sound decisions, communicates effectively and identifies issues early. You'll be supported by a dedicated Head Office team and an on-site Business Development Manager, allowing you to focus on delivering quality homes within our proven 16-week build program.
To Be Successful You Must
* Have a QBCC Supervisor Licence
* Experience in Residential Construction with high volume
* Drivers Licence + white card
* A trade background, carpentry is preferred
* Site Management experience while following OHS procedures
* Problem solving skills and good decision making
* Competent with IT, preferably Onsite Companion
* Have a practical, hands-on approach ensuring you're present on site and follow through with what you commit to
* Remain calm under pressure while adapting to challenges if they arise
