About the Role:*We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Officer to join our Strategic Procurement and Contracts Division. This role is critical in managing high-risk contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting business areas with best-practice contract management. You will provide specialist advice, lead planning for new opportunities, and foster strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
***Key Responsibilities:**
* Oversee and monitor compliance of high-risk contracts, ensuring delivery meets agreed terms, milestones, and pricing.
* Prepare and deliver contract compliance reports, including performance reviews, relationship management, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
* Provide guidance and support to business units on contract management policies, procedures, and best practices.
* Lead planning and scoping activities for assigned projects, identifying and advancing new contract opportunities.
* Offer expert advice on contract planning, development, renewal, and extension strategies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
* Advise on contract management standards, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
* Develop and present reports and presentations on contractual matters and procurement processes.
* Ensure adherence to government, agency, and public sector procurement policies and frameworks.
* Deliver timely, proactive advice and contribute to stakeholder education and awareness initiatives.
* Mentor and support team members to enhance capability and foster continuous improvement
