About the Role
Join the Navarra Venues sales team and become the dedicated Sales Manager for Villa Navarra — one of the Southern Highlands' most exclusive luxury wedding and events estates.
The venue is set across 116 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, olive groves, lakeside views and boutique accommodation, Villa Navarra Alpine is a Tuscan-inspired destination venue located just over an hour from Sydney. The property is renowned for luxury weddings, corporate retreats, private celebrations, luxury weekend stays, styled shoots and premium events. This is a rare opportunity to represent a venue that truly sells itself.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Sales Manager to lead venue sales and client experience for Villa Navarra.
The venue receives between 60–100 enquiries per week, generating a strong pipeline of qualified leads and consistent event demand. You will guide clients through the sales journey from initial enquiry through to securing their booking, while delivering an exceptional and highly personalised customer experience.
A key component of the role is hosting our weekly Saturday Open Day, where prospective couples are invited to experience the venue firsthand. You will be supported on Open Days by Navarra catering, an on-site waiter for client service and hospitality, an additional sales team member from Sydney.
A key part of the role will be building strong partnerships with local vendors, stylists and suppliers will also be an important part of the role, helping to strengthen the venue's reputation and network within the Southern Highlands wedding and events industry.
In this role, you will manage the full sales journey—from initial enquiry through to contract signature—at which point the event transitions to our expert coordination team, who specialise in delivering seamless event execution.
This is a high-impact sales role where success is measured by revenue growth, conversion performance, and client satisfaction, supported by a competitive base salary and a fantastic commission structure.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage inbound enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings
* Conduct outbound sales activities including cold calling and networking
* Use CRM systems effectively to track, manage, and follow up on leads
* Manage and convert incoming sales enquiries
* Host weekly Saturday Open Days
* Build relationships with local wedding and event suppliers
* Maintain strong client communication and follow-up
* Prepare proposals, quotations and contracts
* Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from sales to event coordination
* Identify new business opportunities and contribute to venue revenue growth
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Required Experience
* 2+ years' experience in sales preferable in events, hospitality, or venue sales
* Highly motivated and success-driven, with a proven ability to achieve targets
* Results-focused and accountable for performance
* Genuine passion for the events and hospitality industry
* Strong interpersonal and social skills – you love connecting with people
* Confident communicator with exceptional negotiation skills
* Fast learner, adaptable to CRM systems and internal processes
