About the role
Lounge Lovers' is seeking a passionate and driven part-time Sales Team Member to join our store in Fyshwick, ACT. As a Sales Team Member, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales growth for our premium home furnishings brand.
What you'll be doing
* Providing outstanding customer service and assisting customers with product selection, order placement, and order fulfilment
* Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of our product range, features, and benefits to effectively recommend solutions tailored to customer needs
* Handling cash and card transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to company policies
* Actively participating in staff training and development programs to enhance your sales and product knowledge
* Contributing to the overall store presentation and merchandising to create an inviting and visually appealing shopping environment
* Collaborating with the store management team to identify and implement strategies to drive sales and customer satisfaction
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role, preferably in the home furnishings or interior design industry
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to understand and meet the needs of diverse customers
* Excellent product knowledge and the ability to confidently discuss features, benefits, and product specifications
* A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to delivering a positive shopping experience
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the achievement of store objectives
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers
