The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in the bid review process for a Design and Construct (D C).
The primary focus will be on ensuring technical accuracy, lifecycle cost analysis, and alignment of the O M (Operation Maintenance) methodology with project objectives.
This requires thorough coordination with stakeholders, effective analysis, and strategic expertise in engineering and project lifecycle planning.
This position commences asap for an expected 16-week term.
Key responsibilities: Lead the technical review of the proposal Ensure design elements align with the project's requirements, industry standards, and regulations.
Assess the feasibility and practicality of proposed construction methodologies, technologies, and innovations.
Evaluate lifecycle operational and maintenance (O M) strategies proposed in the SPV submission to ensure alignment with project goals and long-term sustainability.
Conduct a detailed review of O M pricing models Collaborate with finance teams to assess assumptions in lifecycle costing and align it with project budgets.
Identify engineering risks associated with the D C proposal, including weaknesses in design or O M strategies.
Highlight opportunities for innovation or cost savings throughout the review.
