OverviewIT Service Desk Officer role at Port of Brisbane Pty Ltd.
The first point of IT support contact, assisting stakeholders and customers with IT requests, while helping upskill our people's digital capability to minimise user errors.
Based mainly at the Port Office in Port of Brisbane with a rotating roster supporting the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal at Pinkenba.ResponsibilitiesProvide IT service desk support to team and customers in a agile environment where no two days are the same.Assist stakeholders with IT requests, diagnose issues, and help resolve incidents and service requests.Contribute to technology projects and help upskill users to improve digital capability and reduce user error.Operate on a rotating roster with predominantly Monday to Friday hours and some weekends in a 6-week cycle; on-call or site-based at the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal; versatile start/finish times to support work–life balance.Maintain a respectful and supportive team environment.Contribute to and adhere to ITIL practices; support a range of ICT disciplines (devices, applications, technologies, systems).
Qualifications & SkillsExperience applying Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices.Strong technical support skills across devices, applications, technologies, and systems.Curious, eager to learn new skills and technologies; comfortable working with a diverse range of stakeholders.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Intune) and Azure Active Directory.Strong problem-solving mindset and team collaboration.ITIL certification is highly regarded.Remuneration & BenefitsRemuneration is $94,645 per year (with yearly increases) plus superannuation and allowances.Generous leave allowances including 18 weeks paid parental leave (gender neutral) and options to purchase additional annual leave.Healthy Lifestyle Program, on-site gym, subsidised café and other wellbeing initiatives.RequirementsYou must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
