This isn’t a role where you’ll just make things look good—though you do care deeply about craft and the little details. It’s a role for someone who wants to dig into research, uncover what really matters, and design experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and grounded in user needs.At Askable, our users are researchers and designers. Your work will directly shape how others do research too, creating a nice little feedback loop of impact.–––––––––––––––––––– What you’ll doDiscovery and defining problems through user interviews, testing, and dataDesigning intuitive, user-centred experiences across web and mobileMap journeys, sketch flows, prototype ideas, and see them evolve into polished solutionsCollaborate closely with product and engineering to define and deliver featuresSweat the details—ensure your designs are not just usable, but refined and intentionalAdvocate for the user and bring research insights into product strategyHelp evolve our design system with consistency and scalability in mindShip real things, with your squad, all the way to release and iteration–––––––––––––––––––– Skills and experience you’ll bringTo hit the ground running in this role you’ll need at least 5 years experience working as a product designer, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment with:A portfolio with case studies that show your thinking, not just outcomesExperience planning and conducting user research and usability testingStrong capability in interaction design, systems thinking, and information architectureAn eye for detail—you take pride in the craft and polish of your workBonus points if you haveexperience working on or designing tools for research or design teams.–––––––––––––––––––– The mindset you’ll needWinning with your team: You’ll be proud of the individual work you do, but find winning as team ultimately more fulfilling.
