Role Description
This part-time or full-time Intermediate Accountant role is a hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW. The role includes responsibilities such as managing general accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, assisting in tax preparation and compliance, ASIC compliance and preparing reports for clients. The position offers flexibility, allowing for a combination of in-office presence and remote work to balance personal and professional commitments.
Qualifications
* Strong skills in Tax Preparation, and Compliance
* Proficiency in General Ledger Management and Bookkeeping
* Ability to prepare Tax Returns for individuals, companies, SMSF and trusts
* Proficiency with Xero accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite
* Able to on-board new ABNs, companies and trusts as required by clients
* Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
* Knowledge of investment property and small business accounting is advantageous
