The Role: Lead Diverse Production Operations in this permanent full-time position, you'll serve as Production Team Leader, managing three core areas:
Sewing and Fabric Welding Fabrication, Bagging of Absorbents, and Production of Socks/Booms for Spill Kits.
Reporting to the Operations Manager and our visionary Managing Director, you'll guide a small, dedicated team to ensure seamless operations, superior quality, and maximum efficiency.
This hands-on role involves problem-solving, process enhancements, and inspiring your team to excel.

You'll play a central role in our mission to prevent environmental spills and promote sustainability. Here's what your dynamic days will involve:Supervise and mentor team members in sewing/welding fabrication, absorbent bagging, and sock/boom assembly for spill kits.Train staff on specialized procedures, safety protocols, and efficient techniques specific to each production zone.Handle inventory management with precision, tracking part numbers, quantities, and replenishing stock as needed.Optimize workflows to hit specifications, deadlines, and quality targets across all lines.Monitor production output, swiftly resolving issues to keep operations running smoothly.Report production updates, challenges, and successes to senior management for aligned decision-making.Oversee raw material stocks, including absorbents, PVC fabrics, and spill kit components, with routine stocktaking.Conduct daily safety, health, and environmental checks to maintain a secure workplace.Perform quality assurance inspections on finished goods, from containment solutions to complete spill kits.Track key performance indicators (KPIs), budgets, and metrics, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.Implement workplace plans emphasizing safety and operational effectiveness.Conduct audits to ensure process adherence and quality compliance in all areas.Spot opportunities to cut expenses while enhancing productivity in fabrication, bagging, and assembly.Prepare and submit accurate factory time sheets to administration.Collaborate with procurement to forecast and stock raw materials proactively.Maintain machinery and equipment, logging any issues for quick fixes.Manage the training matrix and support ongoing improvement initiatives.
