A$130,000.00/yr - A$150,000.00/yr
THIS IS A 12 MONTH CONTRACT ROLE - JANUARY 2026 START DATE
The Role
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative JobAdder user research to validate proposed product features with existing or potential users.
- Collaborate with product managers to collate research findings and incorporate those findings into ensuing work.
- Analyse user feedback to identify features or user experience improvements that can enhance the JobAdder product.
- Create user-flows and wireframes to map out and proposed product design features.
- Create user-interface designs of the proposed product features using Figma.
- Collaborate with other Designers, Product Managers and the Development team to gain and incorporate feedback.
- Collaborate on the development and maintenance of the Design Library and Design system.
- Conduct in-house user testing across different teams within the business to validate proposed product features and ensure appropriate business needs are covered.
- Create and conduct user testing for product prototypes to validate the user experience of proposed new features with existing users.
- Write documentation and usage guidelines that teach designers and engineers how to use components and patterns across design and code.
- Work closely within assigned cross-functional crews in an agile environment.
- Provide detailed user experience and interface feedback on features in development to help developers and product managers deliver features at a high level of quality on time.
You:
- 7+ years of experience in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team.
- An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in research, interaction, visual design, and prototyping.
- Advanced skills in problem‑solving and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to design for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
- Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to thousands of users.
- Experience in planning and executing user research studies, whether more traditional user testing or more experimental concept testing.
- Experience partnering with Product Managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features.
- Experience with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.
- SaaS/CRM experience is highly desirable.
