The Opportunity
As a Senior Executive Officer, you will work in a small Team under limited direction to undertake complex Ministerial; Parliamentary; and Executive correspondence activities. You will ensure effective coordination of business services within the Division and maintain links between the Division and the Department on relevant administrative issues.
Some of your duties will include:
1. Drafting and coordinating the preparation of Ministerial, Parliamentary and Executive correspondence as tasked by the Executive Manager with input from relevant staff including, but not limited to, Briefing Notes, Correspondence and Parliamentary Question responses.
2. Providing quality assurance, risk management and relevant internal audits for Ministerial, Parliamentary and Executive products in liaison with senior staff and stakeholders to ensure they are within the prescribed framework and meet Departmental standards.
3. Developing and delivering training and providing specialist support to staff regarding Ministerial, Parliamentary and Executive processes and communications as required.
