Asset Oversight Specialist
This role is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of an asset, ensuring its long-term viability and potential for growth. Key responsibilities include managing relationships with stakeholders, driving business opportunities through natural capital projects such as carbon credits and biodiversity initiatives, leading restoration efforts, and promoting a culture of health and safety within the team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing agricultural assets sustainably. They should be familiar with environmental regulations and have experience working in a corporate environment. A tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Forestry, or Business Management would be beneficial, along with a proven ability to drive income from land-based and environmental opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the management of the asset, including its afforestation program
* Develop and implement strategies to expand the asset's value through natural capital projects
* Lead restoration efforts, including wetland and biodiversity projects
* Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, Traditional Owners, regulators, and stakeholders
* Manage staff and promote a culture of health and safety
Requirements
* Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven experience in managing agricultural assets sustainably
* Familiarity with environmental regulations and corporate environments
* Tertiary qualification in Agriculture, Forestry, or Business Management (desirable)
* Able to drive income from land-based and environmental opportunities
