**The Role**

Duties and responsibilities of the IT DR Coordinator include:

- Support the IT DR Manager in disaster recovery governance and strategy activities, development of disaster recovery plans and the annual IT DR Testing program
- Review/update DR Plans annually to ensure new aspects of the business are covered
- Develop controls to strengthen the DR processes
- Identify and remediate plans, issues, assist in addressing incidents
- Assist in designing and implementing disaster recovery processes for re-establishing servers, databases, and platforms in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic
- Liaise with the Technology and Services sections, Technical Owners and Application Business Owners of identified business critical IT services, to assist in review of disaster recovery plans and support IT Disaster Recovery Testing.
- Liaison and collaborate with the Business Continuity (BC) team.

**Skills and Capabilities**
We are looking to employ a creative and proactive professional to help our division enhance its IT Recovery and Resilience capabilities, with the following skills and capabilities:

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, facilitation, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Build strong partnerships to interface with leadership and teams at all levels within the organization
- Understanding of Application/Infrastructure Interdependencies
- Plan, manage and coordinate testing activities
- Understanding and implementation of DR, BC or IT Project Management concepts
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of infrastructure technologies
