Goldfields Explosives is seeking a skilled LV mechanic to join our experienced maintenance team based predominantly in Muchea, 45kms north-east of Perth.
We are looking for a fully qualified trades persons with the following:
* Previous experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems on light vehicles is essential
* Experience with hydraulic systems, welding, trailer repairs, truck, equipment or agriculture is a benefit
* Ability to provide leadership and knowledge to apprentices
* A strong, positive attitude to work safely in a team environment
* Must reside in Western Australian
* Full Australian Working Rights
Qualifications and skills required:
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Mechanical Technology or similar
* Minimum 2 years of post trade experience, working unsupervised
* WA C Class Manual Driver's Licence minimum (HR licence desirable)
* Experience in the mining or road transport industry desirable
* Ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) – Essential
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical - including Drug & Alcohol
* National Police Clearance
