As a Facilities Management Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the lifecycle of building assets, driving strategic planning, maintenance, and renewal to ensure long-term sustainability.
About The Position
This key leadership position requires an individual who can lead and develop team members, build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and community groups, and coordinate design, scope, and delivery of minor refurbishment projects.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership experience, knowledge of WHS practices, facilities management, and building maintenance principles and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop team members to ensure high service standards and collaboration among colleagues.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors, and community groups.
* Develop, implement, and review the building asset management plan to guide annual and long-term capital works.
* Oversee inspections, maintenance, and renewals of building assets aligned with the developed asset management plan, policies, and safety legislation.
* Coordinate design, scope, and delivery of minor refurbishment projects ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
* Manage service delivery contracts to ensure operational and public facilities meet agreed standards.
* Monitor and manage budgets informed by strategic planning and maintenance priorities.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Building, Construction, Asset Management, or Project Management, or a lesser qualification with significant experience. Additional requirements include extensive leadership experience and knowledge of facilities management, building maintenance, and statutory regulations.
Requirements And Benefits
A salary ranging from $104,512 to $115,154 per annum will be offered dependent on knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications.
