**About the Role**
Join our team as the Manager for the Supportive and Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultants on a full time ongoing basis to work at Monash Medical Centre Clayton.This role consists of both a clinical and management component. Your role will be to support the Clinical Nurse Consultancy team as a manager but to also work in a clinical capacity at the level of a CNC-C. We are at the forefront of change within Palliative Care. Our affiliation with Monash University enables us to readily access significant research undertaken in the area and we are open to using a range of evidence based techniques in our practice.
**About Us**
The Palliative Care Service consists of our inpatient unit, McCulloch House a 16 bed inpatient unit, based at Clayton and 5 beds at Casey hospital. The units works closely with all facets of Monash Health services, from inpatient wards to our Specialist Palliative Care Nurse Consultant Service to Hospital in the Home and Community Palliative Care.
**About You**
- Registered with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- Several years post registration experience
- Recent nursing management experience
- Demonstration of appropriate competencies and skills
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Post
- graduate studies in management or leadership.
- Member of a professional nursing association
