As a Support Worker, you will assist participants with daily activities, promote community inclusion, and support them to achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to ensure respectful and effective care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including hygiene, grooming, and mobility assistance
Support with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
Assist clients with community access and recreational activities
Encourage and support independence in daily routines
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
Follow individual support plans and NDIS guidelines
Communicate effectively with participants, families, and team members
About You:
Genuine passion for supporting people with disability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, flexible, and proactive attitude
Requirements:
Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or related field (or working towards)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working With Children Check (if applicable)
Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (as per government requirements)
