Requirements
5+ years relevant industry experience for senior roles; 1 year minimum for Deckhands.
Must hold the appropriate licenses or registrations; otherwise you will not be considered.
Provide verifiable references and evidence of sea-time or log-book.
Positions involve heavy seas, cramped spaces; you must be strong, adaptable and skilled in deck operations.
Salary
Annual salary will be negotiated according to qualifications and performance; industry standard ranges are :
Ship's Master $120,000 + (subject to negotiation)
Ships Engineer (Fishing) $72,000 – $82,000
Master Fisher $75,000 – $82,000
Ship's Officer $72,000 – $82,000
Fishing and Deckhands $68,800 – $78,000+
All positions include a government-regulated superannuation guarantee.
