Calling all 'Green Thumbs' As a HammondCare volunteer in North Turramurra, you'll engage with people living in aged care and assist residents with gardening activities such as choosing seedlings, seasonal planting, and garden tending. There's no hard labor involved—just an opportunity to give back and share your love of gardening with our residents.
Times are flexible.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits can help improve quality of life and reduce feelings of isolation among residents.

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a dedicated group of volunteers who partner with us to enhance the lives of our clients.
We participate in The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government, which aims to connect elderly people with volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
We are available to discuss suitable volunteering times between Monday and Friday, 9am-4pm.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and will need to undergo a National Volunteer Police Check (paid for by HammondCare) and an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
