About the role
At muk mat, great customer experiences come first. We're on the lookout for an experienced customer service professional to join our team in a part-time role. You'll be someone who takes pride in clear communication, enjoys solving problems, and understands what great service looks like - ideally with a genuine interest in the outdoors and the products that support it.
You'll be responsible for delivering responsive, helpful customer service across all of our sales channels, while also providing hands-on operational support to our manufacturing and fulfilment team.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in getting the details right, and genuinely cares about creating a great customer experience.
What you'll be doing
1. Provide responsive, friendly customer service via email, phone and live chat
2. Process and dispatch daily e-commerce orders with accuracy and attention to detail
3. Support wholesale order preparation and dispatch to meet delivery timelines
4. Coordinate custom-made orders, ensuring specifications are accurately recorded and communicated

6. Assist with stocktaking, inventory updates, and stock movement tracking
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a customer service role, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or a product-based business.
2. Proven ability to manage customer enquiries across email, phone, and live chat
3. Comfortable using customer service platforms (e.g. Zendesk, Gorgias or similar)
4. Some experience or familiarity with processing and dispatching e-commerce orders
5. Comfortable assisting with hands-on operational tasks such as labelling, packaging, and assembly work
6. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
