Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled senior engineer to lead our high-voltage infrastructure team in Adelaide. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in delivering complex large-scale projects that support the growth of Australia's renewable energy and utility sectors.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in producing detailed engineering studies, including system studies, earthing system designs, and high-voltage cable sizing. You should also have a solid foundation in primary design engineering skills, such as conductor and busbar sizing, substation equipment layouts, and preparing high-voltage equipment specifications.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
* Demonstrated experience performing in a similar role in the HV electrical industry
* Hands-on experience in either Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies or Earthing
* Power system study experience (not reviewing) including lightning, lighting, short circuit, load flow etc
