Galaxy Evolution Researcher Position
The Cosmic Dawn Center invites applications for assistant professor positions in galaxy formation and early evolution.
As a researcher at the Cosmic Dawn Center, you will contribute to the center's research program on galaxy formation and early galaxy evolution. The position offers opportunities to work with large imaging and spectroscopic datasets from Euclid and associated facilities. Duties will include proposal writing, planning and execution of observations, data reduction, and scientific exploitation and dissemination of results from the Cosmic Dawn Survey.
Assessment of applicants will primarily consider their level of documented, internationally competitive research. The ability to attract external funding will be considered together with outreach qualifications. Teaching qualifications are not mandatory but documented teaching qualifications and teaching experience will be considered.
As a researcher, you will have the opportunity to bridge observations and theory through the interpretation of survey data in the context of models of galaxy formation and evolution.
