Administration Officer Level 2 – Hunter New England Local Health District
Location: Cessnock Hospital. Hours: 38 hours per week. Employment type: Temporary Full Time to September 2026. Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 2. Remuneration: $64,046.06 - $66,170.25 p.a. + Superannuation + Salary Packaging. Closing Date: Sunday, 12th October 2025. Interviews will be held on Friday 17th October.
Responsibilities
- Registering patients and maintaining accurate data entry
- Coordinating patient discharges
- Supporting nursing staff with administrative duties
- Providing friendly, professional customer service to patients, families, and staff
What We Are Looking For
- Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a busy environment
- Work well independently and as part of a team with strong customer service skills
- Experience in healthcare administration is a plus, but transferable skills from customer service are welcome
- Available to work Monday to Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (some flexibility available)
