Job Title: IT Security Program Manager
Overview
The IT Security Program Manager plays a pivotal role in defining, planning, tracking, and managing technology projects related to cybersecurity. This involves developing and overseeing complex projects and programs aimed at expediting the deployment of critical cybersecurity controls into production.
This position primarily functions as a Technology Project/Program Manager responsible for leading multiple critical security infrastructure programs from inception to completion. The manager establishes strategic network security programs, provides direction, and proactively makes recommendations to resolve obstacles and ensure timely delivery of business results.
* Key Responsibilities
* Develops and leads technical project plans to deploy critical cybersecurity controls into production, thereby strengthening the organization's stance against threats and improving overall security posture.
* Provides comprehensive executive communications, including operational metrics, program achievements, and risks associated with project matriculation.
* Directs and manages leadership escalations to overcome roadblocks.
* Fosters trusted relationships across organizations with technical leads, operations teams, network engineering, and application owners.
* Develops policies and procedures to support onboarding, deployments, and lifecycle risk reduction processes.
Requirements
This is an individual contributor position with no direct reports. The role requires the use of analytical techniques and professional judgment based on strong technical understanding and cybersecurity experience to solve complex problems.
