Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing Corporate Actions events and conducting ASX research for event creation
* Liaising with market stakeholders, counterparties, issuer companies, share registries, brokers, and offshore teams
* Performing daily tasks within market and BNP platforms such as Austraclear, NZX, NZClear, CHESS, ACETP
* Conducting cash and securities reconciliations using BNPP systems and investigating reconciliation breaks
* Generating reports and preparing end‐of‐day checklist items to ensure intraday task completion
About You
The company is looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
* Recent graduate, final year undergraduate, or master's student in any discipline with a GPA of 3.3/4.0 or above
* Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited institution
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with high attention to detail
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction
* Quick learner with a strong interest in financial services and complex processes
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and able to learn new software and financial systems
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Proactive, team‐oriented with a strong sense of accountability and integrity
* Fluent in spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage
* Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks is advantageous
