About the role
As a Motor Mechanic at shine automotive pty ltd', you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles. This full-time position is based in Edwardstown SA 5039 and offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a dynamic automotive environment.
What you'll be doing
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults in a variety of vehicles
* You will primarily work on light commercial vehicles
* Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
* Using specialised tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
* Maintaining detailed records of work performed and parts used
* Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
* Adhering to all safety standards and procedures
* Collaborating with the wider team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualifications in automotive mechanics or a similar field
* Certificate III Automotive qualification is required
* Several years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership setting
* A minimum of 2-3 years of motor mechanic experience is required
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues
* Proficiency in the use of automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic software
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* A commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail
* The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates without Australian work rights
