* Respond appropriately to children who become unwell and ensure accurate documentation is completed.

* Carry out regular health and safety checks and risk assessments.

* Report damaged equipment or safety concerns immediately to senior staff.

* Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Leadership & Operational Responsibilities

* Lead, supervise, and support staff within your room on a daily basis.

* Delegate tasks effectively and ensure high standards of practice across the team.

* Support the opening and closing of the nursery, ensuring security procedures are followed.

* Maintain accurate records for children, staff, and visitors.

* Ensure children are collected safely and in line with nursery collection policies.
