Overview
ATA Steel is a family owned and operated business. We are a leader in Plate cutting in WA and offer excellent service & quality. The successful candidate will have current experience with CNC Plasma machines or similar; Kinetic K5000 experience will be highly regarded. Minimum 1+ years of CNC Plasma machine experience is required.
Responsibilities
* Operate CNC Plasma machines or similar equipment; experience with Kinetic K5000 is advantageous.
* Gantry Crane operation and oxy hand torch experience.
* Riggers / doggers ticket is an advantage but not essential.
* Perform basic forklift tasks; LF - Forklift licence is required.
* Maintain a safe and productive work environment; work efficiently and with attention to detail.
* Be able to work on your own unsupervised and follow directions.
* Be motivated, reliable, and able to contribute effectively to a team.
* Adhere to overtime expectations; regular overtime available with weekend work optional.
* Be available for rotating day/afternoon/night shifts with applicable overtime penalty rates and shift allowances (15% afternoon, 30% night).
* Demonstrate initiative and a team-oriented attitude.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1+ years of CNC Plasma machine experience.
* Gantry Crane operation experience and oxy hand torch knowledge.
* Riggers / doggers ticket preferred but not essential.
* LF - Basic forklift licence is required.
* Physically fit and hardworking with the ability to work unsupervised and follow directions.
* Ability to work rotating shifts and be available for consistent overtime.

* Overtime penalty rates apply; shift allowances of 15% for afternoon and 30% for night shifts.
* Top hourly rate is offered to the right applicants.
