At the Far West Local Health District, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Health Therapist to join our team. As an Oral Health Therapist, you will provide high-quality oral health care services to patients in a rural setting.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, and education to patients of all ages. This includes restorative treatments, preventive services, and oral health promotion activities. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to practice as an Oral Health Therapist
* Significant clinical experience in dental therapy, preferably in a rural setting
* Relevant qualifications and training in oral health promotion and health education
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
* Class C driver's licence and willingness to travel for work purposes
