About the role
B Dinsdale Constructions PTY LTD is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Carpenter to join our growing team in Mackay, Queensland. As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will have the opportunity to learn the trade from experienced professionals and contribute to the construction of high-quality residential and commercial projects. This is a full-time position, providing you with the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in the building trades industry.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting experienced carpenters with the construction and installation of various building components, including concreting, framing, trusses and fit outs
* Learning the proper use and maintenance of power tools and hand tools
* Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
* Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

* Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the carpentry trade
* Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
