We're working with a high-quality boutique firm based in North Melbourne that's looking to add a Senior Accountant to strengthen their team. This role is ideal for someone with with 5 or more years in public practice experience who enjoys working hands-on with larger, more complex client groups and wants exposure to sophisticated structures - particularly in property and investment.
The Role
* Manage and deliver compliance for
large, multi-entity client groups
* Work across complex structures including
trusts, companies and groups
* Apply technical knowledge around
Division 7A, trust losses and group structures
* Gain strong exposure to
property development, build-to-rent and investment portfolios
* Support and mentor junior accountants on a 1-on-1 basis (no formal reviewing role)
* Work closely with experienced leaders in a collaborative, non-hierarchical team
About You
* Over 5 years' experience
in public practice accounting
* Strong hands-on experience with
larger client groups
(multiple entities)
* Solid technical grounding in
Division 7A and trusts
* Motivated, curious and keen to keep learning
* CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
