We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist to join our team as a Consultant.
* As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist cardiology services to patients at Launceston General Hospital.
* This role involves a range of clinical responsibilities including:
* Administrative Tasks:
o TAS hospital paperwork and records management
o Immunisations/vaccinations for patients and staff
o Indemnity and liability insurance arrangements
o Medicare provider number registration
o Identity verification and security checks
o CRC & WWCC checks (if applicable)
o Verification of qualifications and certifications
o Professional references and credentials
o AHPRA registration and licensure
* Key Qualifications and Skills:
o Primary medical degree and fellowship certification in cardiology
o Current AHPRA registration and licensure
o Excellent clinical skills and judgment
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills
