Main Responsibilities
* Leadership and Management: Supervise and train a team of kitchen staff, delegating tasks and overseeing all stations to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Collaboration and Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu development, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
* Safety and Quality: Maintain impeccable food safety and hygiene standards.
* Service Delivery: Take charge of cooking and service management during peak periods.
Requirements
* Culinary Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior role.
* Culinary Knowledge: Familiarity with Mexican or Tex-Mex cuisine is highly valued.
* Volume Handling: Proven ability to handle high-volume services (200+ covers).
* Lideraship Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Language Proficiency: Fluent English language proficiency.
* Food Safety: In-depth knowledge of food safety practices.
* Australian Eligibility: Australian work eligibility and current Perth residency.
