A leader in their field, our client is looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer to join their infrastructure platforms team on an initial 6 month contact.
The role
Playing a pivotal role, you'll work to deliver on a network security strategy which enables peer infrastructure and broader technology teams to work seamlessly.
* Provide management, development and support of Network Security platforms including Firewall, Proxy, Application Load balancing, IPS, IPSec and Encryption systems.
* Identify and build tools (self-service, automation) to help with continuous delivery, continuous development, and security based Devops (SecDevOps).
* Manage daily operations of our on-premise and cloud-based platforms.
Experience
You will have broad experience across the following products:
* Firewalls/IPS - Palo Alto Networks
* Load Balancing & Application Firewall – F5
* Cloud WAF / DDOS/ CDN Services
* Web Proxy Services – Netskope
* IPSEC B2B VPN – Cisco ASA
In addition, you'll have:
* Understanding of Cloud Web Services – AWS, Azure.
* Knowledge of the OSI layers and good troubleshooting skills up to an application level with a proven ability to analyse packet captures
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability work cross-functionally.
