About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated contemporary knowledge and skills and experience in Occupational Therapy practice.
* Excellent communication skills with clients, service providers and co-workers at all levels that enable development of improved service delivery outcomes and effective relationships.
* Proactive approach to own continuous learning/networking and shares information with the team to promote a learning environment.
* Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality processes and evidence-based practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements, with an ability to apply established and evidence-based principles to routine occupational therapist clinical services.
* Effectively prioritizes and manages own time to meet customer expectations, with an enthusiastic, calm and flexible approach.
* Is a positive and active team member with a good work ethic.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
* Appointment to this position requires proof of a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy and full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
