We are seeking a talented SolidWorks modeller with strong 3D component design skills to join a dynamic and growing business in the construction supply sector. This role suits someone with a background in mechanical design, product development, or fabrication who takes pride in producing accurate, detailed models for real-world manufacturing and installation.

About the Role
* Create accurate 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks to support manufacturing and construction requirements.
* Produce detailed fabrication drawings, workshop-ready part files, and parts lists.
* Liaise with project and production teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and align with specifications.
* Apply creative problem-solving to adapt designs for site-specific or installation challenges.
* Maintain consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail in all modelling outputs.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who can bring:
* Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software, with a willingness to transition).
* Strong experience in 3D component modelling, ideally within metalwork, joinery, mechanical parts, or architectural products.
* Understanding of fabrication processes, tolerances, and materials
* Ability to interpret and translate architectural and construction drawings into detailed models.
* Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and collaboration within an evolving team.
Preferred but Not Essential
* Knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
* Exposure to working with builders, architects, or construction project managers.
