Are you an experienced Social Worker passionate about supporting families and improving health outcomes for children and women in the perinatal period? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to provide specialist Social Work services within a dynamic multidisciplinary team based at Berkeley Family Care Centre, serving the Illawarra region. 
Position details 
$56.68 - $58.52 per hour + 12% super & salary packaging | Temporary Part Time 16 hours per week until 11 September 2026 | Illawarra Child Development Centre | REQ | Grade: Social Worker Level 3 | Applications close: 6 October 2025 
Responsibilities 
- As a Level 3 Social Worker, deliver high-level psychosocial support to patients, clients, consumers, and their families/carers in alignment with ISLHD policies, procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct. 
- Focus on supporting families with children up to school age. 
- Provide care for women experiencing postnatal depression. 
- Deliver individual and group services within a collaborative team environment. 
- Be supported by the Social Work Head of Department and connected to a strong peer network within the Division of Kids & Families. 
Qualifications and requirements 
- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) 
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) 
- Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role 
- Valid NSW Driver’s Licence
