Our client is a progressive Perth based Engineering Services company who are looking to appoint a Mechatronics Engineer to help grow their automation division. The successful candidate will have experience and required skills with Automation and control system development, Electrical design of control systems and switchboards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of robotic and automation projects development in conjunction with our local and international supply partners.
* Provide customer after-sales support for our automation products.
* Assist our marketing team with technical support to facilitate marketing activities.
* Liaise with workshop team to deliver control systems to design parameters and Australian standards.
* Control system design, drafting and documentation.
* Control system programming.
* Project management of system installations, upgrades, and workshop activities.
* Provide excellent technical advice and support to workshop and site-based staff.
* Manage projects to achieve the customers required outcome.
* Build strong relationships with our customer base and preferred suppliers.
To be considered for this role you must have
* A graduate in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics).
* Experienced gained in a similar role.
* Management and supervision experience, strong leadership skills.
* Practical industry application of Mechatronic or similar Engineering.
* Development and coding of industrial control systems and PLC's
* Solid Works Electrical experience preferred, but not essential.
* Excellent customer service, sales, and account management skills.
