Health Support Officer Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Health Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide health support services to students with complex and invasive healthcare needs, utilizing established procedures and specific health plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide health support services to students with complex and invasive healthcare needs
* Undertake health support tasks to enable attendance and participation in an educational setting
* Administer medication and perform delegated complex and invasive healthcare tasks as required
* Respond to emergency situations according to first aid and other standard training
Requirements
* Current First-Aid Certificate
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively and sensitively with clients and colleagues
* Maintain confidentiality in line with legal and policy requirements
* Understand and adhere to written instructions
* Identify and manage emergency situations using established procedures
