Dental Assistant – Specialist Endodontic Practice (Full-time)

Starting rate $35–$42 per hour + 9-day fortnight (76 hours per fortnight)
Sydney Endodontic Centre (SEC) is a high-profile specialist endodontic practice in Sydney's Inner West, caring for patients referred from across NSW. We uphold the highest standards of specialist care and are proud to be accredited against the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
This role is different from the average dental assisting position. You'll work alongside a large team of highly skilled specialist endodontists, including clinicians with senior university teaching leadership roles (acting heads of endodontic teaching at the University of Sydney and La Trobe University, and actively involved in teaching at Charles Sturt University). We are offering a permanent full-time position (76 hours per fortnight) with a 9-day fortnight roster (one rostered day off every fortnight).
What you'll be doing
* Chair-side assisting our specialist endodontists
* Delivering a calm, professional and friendly patient experience
* Sterilisation and infection control duties to a high standard
* Assisting with stock/consumables and general clinical support tasks as needed
* Supporting smooth daily workflow and helping the team stay on time
What we're looking for
* Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
* Positive, proactive team attitude and willingness to learn
* Strong attention to detail and pride in high standards
* Clear communication and patient-first approach
* Comfortable communicating with patients from a wide range of backgrounds (additional language skills are welcome)
