Job Opportunity: Business Growth Strategist
At our organisation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Growth Strategist to lead our regional sales efforts in the South Asia Pacific region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to develop and execute a business strategy that drives growth and revenue in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of experienced account managers and channel partners, as well as identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in driving financial growth through strategic planning and execution. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Responsibilities:
* Develop in-depth knowledge of our offerings and use this knowledge to identify prospective client and partnership opportunities for the business.
* Gather feedback from clients and localised market trends to help the business develop future product and service strategy.
* Lead and motivate a team of account managers, ensuring a collaborative culture of information sharing to maximise sales opportunities.
* Assist account managers on the development of their business plans and proposals and provide ongoing business development coaching.
* Oversee and provide guidance in sales negotiations, becoming directly involved in negotiations to close large deals when appropriate or necessary.
* With sales leadership, ensure there is strong alignment between the deployment of sales resources and the strategic priorities of the business.
* Build strong, collaborative relationships with global sales, marketing and product colleagues to strengthen customer focus.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of exceeding financial goals.
* Extensive experience within an industry that advocates for a structured sales approach, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or educational sector.
* Experience in leading teams across diverse territory with direct sales experience in India and Australia.
* Highly desirable to have experience in South Korea also.
* Strong client-centric relationship management skills, exceptional consultative and strategic selling skills, and excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
* The ability to travel % of the time to visit clients and attend annual sales conferences.
* A Bachelor's degree in business, science, or a related healthcare field highly desired.
