Looking to take your first step into the Defence and Maintenance industry? Ventia is offering two exciting opportunities for motivated individuals to join us as Production Clerks on a 12-month fixed term contract. Perfect for someone early in their career, this role offers hands on experience in admin, logistics, and operations – all within a supportive and high-performing team.
What you'll be doing
This full-time role is based at RAAF Base Amberley and offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:45 PM), with an early finish at 12:00 PM every Friday.
You'll be the go-to support for our workshop team, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Your day-to-day might include:
* Entering data and processing work orders in SAP and Defence systems
* Ordering and tracking repair parts
* Coordinating deliveries to the workshop
* Supporting stocktakes and managing inventory
* Taking care of general admin tasks and contributing to safety initiatives
* Early finish every Friday at 12 PM

Who we're looking for
You're someone who's ready to roll up your sleeves, learn quickly, and be part of a team that keeps things moving. You're naturally organised, great with technology, and not afraid to ask questions. Whether you've worked in admin or logistics before or you're just getting started, this is a great opportunity to build your skills.
To be eligible, you'll need to be an Australian citizen so you can obtain Defence clearance.
