About the role
Construct Personnel is seeking experienced Plant and Machine Operators to join our team on a casual basis in the western Suburbs. As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of a variety of construction equipment and machinery, contributing to the successful delivery of major construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Operate and maintain a range of construction plant and machinery, including excavators, loaders, backhoes and rollers.
- Conduct pre-start checks and report any issues or maintenance requirements.
- Ensure the protected and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
- Contribute to the completion of construction tasks and projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Work collaboratively with the wider construction team to support the successful delivery of projects.
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience operating a variety of construction plant and machinery, with a strong understanding of equipment capabilities and limitations. Final Trim and GPS operation.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and efficiently, with a keen focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions.
