We are expanding our aviation and high-value operations in Western Australia and are seeking Casual/On Call Flight Guards to support time-critical, high-trust movements through Perth Airport.
This role supports high-value consignments for mining, resources, financial, retail, and government customers, operating in tightly controlled aviation environments where precision, professionalism, and chain-of-custody discipline are critical.

About the Role
As a Flight Guard, you are responsible for maintaining continuous custody and security of high-value consignments during air transport operations. You will operate across airside and landside environments, interfacing with airlines, ground handlers, cargo terminals, airport security, border agencies, and mining customer representatives.
Work is casual and demand-driven, with tasking aligned to flight schedules, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and short-notice deployments.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain end-to-end chain-of-custody for high-value shipments during aviation movements
* Escort consignments between aircraft, cargo terminals, bonded areas, mine-site logistics interfaces, and secure vehicles
* Operate in compliance with aviation security requirements, airport SOPs, and company procedures
* Liaise professionally with airlines, ground handlers, airport security, mining stakeholders, and internal operations teams
* Maintain high levels of situational awareness in sterile and restricted areas
* Respond appropriately to delays, diversions, and operational disruptions
* Complete accurate documentation and custody records

* Experience in high-value security, aviation security, armed security, or regulated logistics environments preferred
* Strong procedural discipline and attention to detail
* Calm, professional approach in time-critical and high-pressure situations

Essential Requirements
* WA Security Officer Licence (or ability to obtain)
* ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) or eligibility to obtain
* Certificate II in Security Operations (minimum)
* Certificate III in Security Operations (desirable)
* National Police Clearance
* Ability to pass medical, drug & alcohol, and background screening
* Availability for irregular hours aligned to flight schedules
Desirable
* Airside Driving Authority (ADA)
* Firearms eligibility for occupational duties (task-dependent)
* Previous flight guard, aviation, or mining-sector logistics experience
