Your Skills and Expertise:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Risk, Governance, Law or Health is essential for this position.
* Applicants should have extensive senior experience in compliance, quality or risk roles within regulated sectors.
* A strong working knowledge of frameworks such as NDIS Practice Standards, Aged Care Quality Standards, HACCP, ISO9001 and relevant legislation is necessary.
* The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and promote cultural change.
* Experience in policy development, systems implementation and Board-level reporting is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* This individual will champion organisational compliance across NDIS, Aged Care, Assistive Technology, Guide Dogs, Manufacturing and Corporate services.
* The successful candidate will lead the implementation of our Risk Management Framework and internal Quality Management System (QMS).
* Overseeing incident, complaint, audit and accreditation processes will also be a key responsibility.
* Providing advice to executive leaders on emerging risks, governance obligations and compliance strategies is crucial.
* Engaging with regulators and funders to ensure high standards of service quality and safety is vital.
* Fostering a culture of risk awareness, transparency and accountability is essential for this role.
