Support Worker Role
Selectability is seeking a Support Worker to join our team in regional Queensland.
The Support Worker will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with various needs, helping them to live their best lives.
About the Job
The primary responsibility of the Support Worker is to provide individualized support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person
* Provide direct support to children and young people, including assistance with daily living tasks, education, and recreation
* Work collaboratively with other support staff to ensure comprehensive support services are provided
* Contribute to a safe and supportive environment that promotes positive relationships and outcomes for children and young people
Requirements:
1. Cert IV qualification in a relevant field (or willingness to study)
2. Certification in Hope and Healing for residential care (or ability to obtain)
3. P1
